SJSU Special Collections
Includes primary sources that document SJSU, local, and national history; rare and fine press artist books. Formats include books, manuscripts, photographs, art, maps, oral histories, and ephemera.
Cultural Heritage Center
The San José State University Library Cultural Heritage Center is made up of three distinct but complementary collections which share a service commitment and a designated space in the new Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library.
King Library Digital Collections
The King Library Digital Collections represent rare and unique materials held by San Jose State University Special Collections and the San Jose Public Library's California Room.
Beethoven Center
The Center is the only institution in North America devoted solely to the life, works, and accomplishments of Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827).
California Room
The California Room is a collection of materials on California history with an emphasis on the history of San José and Santa Clara County.
Steinbeck Center
Founded in 1973 as the Steinbeck Research Center, the Center is now the largest Steinbeck archive in the world. In 1997, the Center was renamed the Martha Heasley Cox Center for Steinbeck Studies in honor of its founder, a professor of English at San Jose State.
Sourisseau Academy
The Academy maintains an extensive photograph collection and historical ephemera relating primarily to the history of Santa Clara County and the central coast region of California.
