IMPORTANT UPDATED NOTICE – FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2009:
We are now able to accept new ILLiad users. New users are now able to set up an account.

Patrons that created their ILLiad accounts after 10/16/09 – PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE:
If you created your ILLiad account during the time period of 10/16 - 11/2, you will need to register again and re-enter your requests. If you created an account on November 4 - 5, the system did not correctly record your information. You also will have to register again and re-enter you requests. We apologize for this serious inconvenience to our patrons.

Patrons that had a valid ILLiad account before 10/16/09:
Due to a system failure, ILLiad Requests made between 10/16/09 through 11/2/09 may have been lost. Please check your ILLiad account and re-enter these requests with a "re-request" note in the Notes field.

Interlibrary Services lets library users borrow hard-copy items (books, microfilm, etc.) and articles (paper, electronic) from libraries all over the world. Interlibrary Services does not fill requests for:

  • items already listed in either the SJSU Library or the San José Public Library collections
  • textbooks
  • items on Course Reserves for SJSU students at the King Library
Before using Interlibrary Services, please check the Library Catalog to see if the title you need is already listed in the Library's collection. If you need a particular book, it is also good first to check Link+, which often has a faster turnaround than Interlibrary Services.

If your item is not in the Library Catalog or Link+, please choose among the following Interlibrary Services options:
