Link+/Interlibrary Loan & Other Resources
Use Link+ or Interlibrary Services (ILLiad) to borrow books or request copies of journal articles that the library doesn't own or that are checked out.
  • Interlibrary Services lets library users borrow hard-copy items (books, microfilm, etc.) and articles (paper, electronic) from libraries all over the world. (Watch these short videos to find out more about creating an Interlibrary Services account and placing a request.)
  • Link+ is a borrowing program among many California academic and public libraries. Link+ lets you request items from another library that are not available at the King Library or San José Public Library (SJPL) Branches.
  • The California Libraries Catalog provides the ability to look up books and other materials in California libraries cataloged in the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC). It also provides access to WorldCat, the catalog of all OCLC libraries worldwide. Free to all cardholders. * SJLibrary Card Required To Access Outside the Library
  • Search over 2 million WorldCat records to find libraries anywhere that have your title.
  • Check out what other local libraries have to offer. Select a library's website to find a phone number to call for assistance or check its Online Catalog yourself.
