Chicana Desire and Birthing

A reading and presentation by:

Julia Curry Rodriguez, Jennie M. Luna and Karleen Pendleton Jimenez.  

Professor Curry is a professor of Mexican American Studies at SJSU, she will be discussing "Chicanas Wanting it All!"
Jennie M. Luna is an expert on traditional birthing practices and reproductive health.  She is joining the faculty at New Mexico State University in August after teaching at SJSU Mexican American Studies for 3 years.
Pendleton Jimenez will read from her memoir "How to Get a Girl Pregnant", a frank and funny memoir about a dyke trying to get pregnant.
