Integral Tai Chi Classes
Integral taichi, created by Master Ce Hang Truong, is a self-healing system that integrates taichi, yoga, relaxation and meditation to heal the mind, body and spirit. This comprehensive approach involves a series of 10 body movement postures each designed to increase balance, awareness, endurance, flexibility, flow, concentration, energy and spiritual transformation. Integral taichi can be simply and easily learned and practiced for all ages and body types.

FREE ESL Classes
Tully Library and the East Side Adult Education Program are offering free Beginning ESL classes. Everyone is welcome. This is a great opportunity to learn English. New learners may join at any time. If you have questions about the class, please call the East Side Adult Education Office at (408) 254-8100.

Stay & Play
Parents and children are invited to stay and get acquainted after selected storytimes. We will put out toys for the children to play with while the adults chat.

Citizenship Class
Get educated in different aspects: English language, Civics, U.S History and Government while practicing for your citizenship interview. This class is presented by Tully volunteers with the support of SIREN (Services, Immigrant Rights and Education Network).

Reading Buddies
Children - Practice your reading skills with an older buddy, one-to-one, in a relaxed, non-pressure manner.
Teens - Share your talents and make a difference! Read with a buddy for one hour a week. If you're between 13-17, and enjoy reading and working with children, then have fun, help young readers, and fulfill community service hours. To attend a one hour orientation and training, sign up at the Info Desk or call Tully Library at (408) 808-3030.

Cambodian Cultural Dance
All children are welcome to attend this class which teaches the basics of traditional Cambodian Dance; however, we do ask that interested children plan to make a commitment to attend all classes. Classes are given by the Cambodian Cultural Dance Group.

Kids & Computers
Need to practice typing to improve your technique and speed? Want to learn about databases available to kids with your San Jose Public Library card? Want to learn the basics of using a computer to type reports? This class will be taught every third Wednesday of the month covering a variety of topics. Please sign-up at the Tully Community Library's Information Desk. This class is limited to 8 students per session. Recommended ages 8-12 years of age.

Tully Community Library is inviting teens from 13-18 years old to join our monthly teensReach volunteer meeting. In addition to finding out how to volunteer in the library to get community service hours, you can share your ideas and suggestions about library programs or materials for teens. The training for new teensReach volunteers will be available at 7:00 PM right after the monthly meeting. New volunteers must be here from 6 PM-8 PM for the meeting and training.

Reading Buddies Volunteer Workshop
Have fun reading to children and earn your community service hours. During this workshop, a librarian will train you on how to read aloud to children and help children with their reading comprehension. The workshop is specially designed for teens ages 13-17 years who would like to read and help children to read. For those who get out of school late, please contact Chieu Nguyen to arrange special late arrival.
