Mixing in Math
Join us for some fun math activities and games. This program is geared to supplement school homework and show that math can be fun. Children in grades Kindergarten and up are welcome.

Baby Signs: Introductory Workshop
This workshop introduces basic baby signs to parents with children from birth to 18 months old. Bill Austin-White of TouchBlueSky will teach signs based on the American Sign Language (ASL). Children will participate with parents in the workshop.

Author Visit - Sheila & Lisa Himmel
Teens (ages 13-18) and their parents are invited to participate in our monthly teensReach meeting. We are pleased to have Sheila and Lisa Himmel, authors of Hungry: A Mother and Daughter Fight Anorexia, as our special guests. There will be an opportunity for book signing. Community service credits are given to participating students. Light refreshments are provided by the Friends of the Almaden Library.

Holiday Puppet Show - P&T Puppet's 'The Night Before Chris Mouse'
Come and enjoy the creative talent of the P&T Puppet Theater troupe. They will be doing the ever popular "The Night Before Chris Mouse." A P&T Puppet Theatre original! Based on the beloved poem, and the Aesop's Fable of the belling of the cat. This all mouse (and cat) cast will delight all ages. Set to the music of Tchaikowsky, Grieg and Beethoven. 40 minutes long.

History Book Club
If you are a history buff, you will enjoy our discussion of Washington's Crossing about Washington's ragged army, crossing the ice-choked Delaware River from Pennsylvania to New Jersey. Next month we will be discussing Kingmakers : The Invention of the Modern Middle East.
